Youth Counseling Services offers Seneca County’s school-age youth greater opportunity for achieving individual potential and well being. We join with parents, schools, and other community agencies to provide quality prevention and intervention services.
Services
School-based assessment, counseling and referral services for youth experiencing personal problems, family problems, alcohol and/or other drug-related issues are offered. Prevention education services are taught to a universal school population.
Eligibility
The program serves youth through age 20, whether they are currently in or out of school.
Cost
There is no fee for this service. Funding is made available through NYS OASAS, School contributions, County funding.
Other Information
Services initiated upon written referral and generally with consent of the parent. The staff of six serves all four Seneca County School Districts, grades K-12. Both Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree employees on staff. Licensed by NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
