On Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 4 p.m. at the entrance to Seneca Lake State Park, a new historic marker will be dedicated. This marker honors those families who were dispossessed from their properties to make way for the Seneca Ordnance Depot in 1941 and/or the Sampson Naval Training Station in 1942.
