E-911 Center Seneca County Mission Statement
The E-911 Center, County of Seneca, will deliver effective and responsive emergency assistance to all residents of Seneca County in a fair and equitable manner. As an essential part of the Seneca County Community, we are committed to communicate with those we serve and to join with them in establishing priorities to enhance the quality of life for the entire community.
The E-911 Center, County of Seneca, is dedicated to serving and protecting the public through the dispatch of emergency services and providing Emergency Medical Dispatch over the telephone, in order to make Seneca County a safe place in which to reside, work or travel.
The E-911 Center answers 18 administrative phone lines, 1 TDD line, 3 alarm lines, 14 – 911 lines and dispatches for 7 Law Enforcement Agencies in addition to 12 Fire Departments and 2 Ambulance Companies.
Seneca County is comprised of 11 Townships and 4 Villages. There is all or part of 2 Finger Lakes within our boundaries (Seneca and Cayuga). Fourteen miles of the New York State Thruway traverses the northern portion of the county and includes exit (41). There are 4 school districts in addition to one college (New York Chiropractic College).
Dialing “9-1-1“ provides the caller with a Central location within Seneca County for information and assistance.
The Seneca County 9-1-1 Center is located in the Seneca County Office Building at 1 DiPronio Drive in Waterloo, N.Y.
