VITA:
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance is a program that offers free tax preparation to the working community. This program consists of:
- Basic income tax returns including Form 1040EZ or Form 1040A Federal tax returns and basic New York State returns for families with low to moderate incomes up to $50,000.00.
- Assisting families in receiving any special credits and deductions that they are entitled to.
- Free e-filing and direct deposit to get a quicker return.
