May is National Adoption Month
Each May, National Foster Care Month provides an opportunity to shine a light on the experiences of the more than 400,000 children and youth in the foster care system.
*Homes are needed for sibling groups, children
with specialized needs, teenagers, and infants.
*Multicultural and ethnically diverse homes are also needed.
*Certification through a nationally recognized curriculum (MAPP).
*Ongoing trainings and support are provided through in-home consultations with Division of Human Services Staff.
* Support Groups and State Training opportunities.
