Human Services - Accounting

The Accounting Department is responsible for all financial matters relating to the Division of Human Services.

Services:

  • Processing of agency timesheets and leave records
  • Requisitioning supplies and equipment
  • Auditing and payment of bills
  • Processing public assistance benefits
  • Payment of all Services related payments (e.g. foster care, institutional payments and purchases of service)
  • Maintaining trust accounts for psa clients
  • Monitoring budget expenses
  • Distribution of DHS and outgoing mail
  • Posting and balancing of requested employee leave time
  • Review and payment of utility and fuel bills for clients, HEAP
  • Maintain Commissioners Revolving Loan Fund
  • Maintain Petty Cash Fund
  • Auditing and payment of all daycare bills
  • Processing of employee mileage and travel payments
  • Processing of program and administrative claims for State and Federal reimbursement
